Public Workshop Series: Why Organic?
Organic—a simple word that advertises products and frequents the conversations of the health-conscious. While many people sing the praises of organic products, others condemn them for the expense. But what does ‘organic’ really mean? What are the actual benefits of organic products? We will answer all of your questions about the meaning of organic as we discuss the differences between organic and conventional agriculture, clarify definitions, explain the implications for your health, and offer solutions for going organic on a budget. Join us to learn why and how to make changes that will benefit both your health and the planet’s. Please call us at (509) 524-5218 with any questions. We hope to see you there! **This event was originally scheduled for February 7**
