Public Workshop Series: Frozen and Dried Foods
Perhaps the simplest methods of home food preservation, freezing and drying offer quick solutions that reduce food waste, save time and money, and allow us to eat local year-round. We will discuss many aspects of drying and freezing, including techniques, what foods work best, and how to use your dried and frozen items. We will also explore alternate uses for dried herbs, including crafts that make thoughtful gifts. You will have the opportunity to make an herb sachet to take home. Please register in advance for this workshop at https://slcceep.wufoo.com/forms/z16kl5jd0pxuxk7/ or give us a call at (509) 524-5218.
