Public Workshop Series: Composting Basics for Indoors and Out
Food waste is the largest component of the waste stream in most US households. But why throw out something you can use? Whether you have an enormous garden or a few planters, your plants will benefit from some compost! We will cover the basics of composting and discuss techniques to fit different lifestyles. You don’t need a huge garden to start your own compost—whether you live in an apartment or on a farm, there is a composting solution for you. Join us to learn what solution may fit your lifestyle and take a walk over to visit the aerated static compost pile at Walla Walla Community College. Please call us at (509) 524-5218 with any questions. We hope to see you there!
