Zero Suicide: A Community Roundtable with Dr. Justin Coffey is part of Suicide Prevention Month activities in September sponsored by Greater Columbia Accountable Communities of Health, Walla Walla County Department of Community Health, REACH OUT, Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Providence Medical Group and Whitman College. Breakfast and check-in is at 8:30 a.m., with the presentation from 9 to 11 a.m. The roundtable is specifically intended for local students and community members interested in suicide prevention. Dr. Justin Coffey is by training a neuropsychiatrist, by instinct a systems thinker, by rearing a family man, and by nature someone who performs best when placed in situations that challenge him to grow. He currently serves as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA. He leads the provision of all clinical and academic programs in psychiatry, psychology, and addiction medicine and serves on the leadership team of the Neuroscience Institute. He is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
