Come to our workshop to learn about the magical process of using worms to create rich compost. Composting offers a more sustainable alternative to traditional methods of food waste disposal and it provides you with nutrient-rich castings to spread in your garden, houseplants, lawn and more! This workshop provides you with all the knowledge you need to get started, as well as the option to purchase a worm bin kit, complete with worms, to kickstart your vermiculture venture! We will be joined by our 'worm mentor' John Christy, a local vermiculture expert. John will co-present, providing insight and the voice of lots of experience, as well as answering questions. Workshop is free and open to the public. Please note that registration is required for this workshop and the registration link is found at the SLC website: www.slcww.org Call us at (509) 524-5218 with any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
