Special Art and History Show
It’s a little bit of everything at Wenaha Gallery’s special Art and History Show Saturday, March 3, from 1 to 4 at 219 East Main Street, Dayton. Lifetime scholar, artist, historian, author of 16 books, and former university professor Nona Hengen of Spangle, WA, speaks at 1:30 and 3 on the Inland Northwest battles of the frontier between the U.S. Government and regional Native American tribes, accompanying her talk with a DVD presentation. Walla Walla watercolor artist Roy Anderson chimes in with live music and a display of his musically themed artwork, and Pasco glass artist Gregory Jones is on site with his hand-crafted glass bowls. The show, which includes artisan refreshments, is free.
