Public Workshop Series: Composting with Worms
If you are looking for some more excitement in your compost or just want to see your food waste finally eaten, come join us to explore vermiculture with our special guest and worm mentor, John Christy. You will learn how to create rich compost from your food and yard waste with the help of some friendly worms. Mr. Christy will provide background and context before demonstrating his model for taking food through the full cycle of farm to table to farm. You will gain an understanding of the benefits of composting, learn the basics of how to do it, and discover some great resources for learning more. Sign up in advance to leave the workshop with a system ready to set up at home! Please register in advance for this workshop at https://slcceep.wufoo.com/forms/z3724x61fiosx4/ or give us a call us at (509) 524-5218.
