Kedi - a documentary film
Gesa Power House Theatre presents a screening of the independent, foreign film “Kedi” on Friday, July 7. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Blue Mountain Humane Society.
Hundreds of thousands of cats freely roam the metropolis of Istanbul. For thousands of years they’ve wandered in and out of people’s lives, becoming an essential part of the communities that make the city so rich. Claiming no owners, these animals live between two worlds, neither wild nor tame – and they bring joy and purpose to those people they choose to adopt. In Istanbul, cats are the mirrors to the people, allowing them to reflect on their lives in ways
nothing else could.
Runtime: 79 minutes
Language: Turkish (with English subtitles)
A portion of each $15 ticket will go directly to the Blue Mountain Humane Society. General admission tickets are available online, by calling the box office at 509-529-6500, or at the door.
All donations that Blue Mountain Humane Society receives during the PETS90X Challenge will be matched by the Murr Family Foundation.
