Colorful and creative, photographic collages by Spokane artist Gay Waldman are a blend of the real and the surreal, incorporating design, line and form in digitally enhanced imagery. Whether it's a macro of a flower, its edges blurred into impressionism, or a montage of leaves, lines, and garden elements, Waldman's art photos require up to 32 hours of studio work to bring to completion. Showcased at Wenaha Gallery through Saturday, May 5, Waldman's work covers an entire wall and beyond at the gallery, which is itself housed in the historic downtown district of Dayton, WA. Call 509-382-2124 for more information, or email art@wenaha.com. Wenaha Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
