Free Film: "Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety"
Willow Public School presents a free screening of the film "Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety" at Gesa Power House Theatre on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m.
"Angst" is an hour-long documentary film that explores anxiety, its causes and effects, and what can be done about it.
The filmmakers' goal is to have a global conversation and raise awareness around anxiety. "Angst" features candid interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from anxiety and what they've learned about it. The film includes discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources and tools.
Community resources will be available in the lobby before and after the screening to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help.
Free tickets (required for guaranteed admission) are available at willowps.org/movie. This screening is appropriate for fifth graders (10 years old) and up.
