David Partridge paints, tools leather, carves wood, and welds metal art sculpture, incorporating skills he honed during a 33-year career as a millwright for Boise Cascade. From his first watercolor of a buffalo (60 years ago, for a fourth grade assignment) to present day, this Walla Walla artist has created hundreds of paintings, focusing on the beauty of the landscape and the animal world. Through June 1, Wenaha Gallery is showcasing a wall of his oil paintings.
